St Andrews Students raise a glass for TCCL On Sunday 24th April, TCCL were delighted to invite members of the St Andrews University Oktoberfest Committee to TCCL Lodge to look around the facility and to accept a cheque from their fundraising Oktoberfest event in Mar 2016. They were hosted by John Walker and Biz Logan from the charity during their visit. Julius, Julian, Sophia, Qian, Laurence and Florian were very impressed with what has been done with the lodge. Those who came to visit last year saw essentially a building site as the renovations were in full swing and appreciate the thought and effort that has gone into the completed lodge renovation. The group have been supporting TCCL and TCCL Lodge since 2011 and are our biggest non corporate sponsor. During the visit, they handed over a cheque for 17,000 from their 2016 event. This brings the total raised by the Oktoberfest group since 2011 to over 90,000. They confirmed that they intend to continue supporting the charity and we look forward to working with them in 2017. Their help is invaluable in our annual fundraising so that we can continue to help local families who have a child who has, or has had, Cancer or Leukaemia.
